Very Rev. Tait Schroeder, Vicar General, announces the following clergy appointments, effective Saturday, June 27, 2026, and announced the same day, based on the merger of the parishes of St. Philomena in Belmont, Our Lady of Fatima in Darlington, St. Joseph in Gratiot, St. Matthew in Shullsburg, and St. John the Apostle in South Wayne to become St. Isidore the Farmer Parish, as decreed by Most Rev. Donald Hying, Bishop of Madison:

• Rev. William Vernon, to Pastor, St. Isidore the Farmer Parish, per canon 522, for a term of six years with the possibility of renewal, as a result of the canonical merger of the parishes of St. Philomena in Belmont, Our Lady of Fatima in Darlington, St. Joseph in Gratiot, St. Matthew in Shullsburg, and St. John the Apostle in South Wayne to become St. Isidore the Farmer Parish, from Parochial Administrator of the parishes of St. Philomena in Belmont, Our Lady of Fatima in Darlington, St. Joseph in Gratiot, St. Matthew in Shullsburg, and St. John the Apostle in South Wayne.
• Rev. Michael Chika, to Parochial Vicar, St. Isidore the Farmer Parish, per canon 545, as a result of the canonical merger of the parishes of St. Philomena in Belmont, Our Lady of Fatima in Darlington, St. Joseph in Gratiot, St. Matthew in Shullsburg, and St. John the Apostle in South Wayne to become St. Isidore the Farmer Parish, from Parochial Vicar of the parishes of St. Philomena in Belmont, Our Lady of Fatima in Darlington, St. Joseph in Gratiot, St. Matthew in Shullsburg, and St. John the Apostle in South Wayne.
• Rev. Milot Frederique, SMM, to Parochial Vicar responsible for Hispanic Ministry in Darlington, St. Isidore the Farmer Parish, per canon 545, as a result of the canonical merger of the parishes of St. Philomena in Belmont, Our Lady of Fatima in Darlington, St. Joseph in Gratiot, St. Matthew in Shullsburg, and St. John the Apostle in South Wayne to become St. Isidore the Farmer Parish, from Parochial Vicar responsible for Hispanic Ministry, Our Lady of Fatima Parish, while maintaining his other offices in Watertown and Monroe.
