Meeting for men interested in becoming a permanent deacon or wishing to learn more about the permanent diaconate

MADISON — The Diocese of Madison will host two meetings for men who are interested in learning more about the call to be a permanent deacon.

Interested men need only attend one of the meetings.

One meeting will be held on Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, at St. Clement Church, 135 S. Washington St., Lancaster.

The other meeting will be held on Saturday, April 25, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, at Holy Name Heights, 702 S. High Point Rd., Madison.

Check-in will start at 8:40 a.m. for both meetings.

The meetings are for men who have experienced a call to learn more about the vocation to the permanent diaconate.

Attendees will be provided with information about the life and ministry of a permanent deacon, along with the discernment and formation processes.

Interested men are asked to inform their pastors or parochial administrators that they will be attending one of the meetings.

Wives may attend with their husbands, and pastors and parochial administrators are invited.
