Fr. James Kubicki, SJ, to speak at next St. Thérèse Lecture

MADISON — The St. Thérèse of Lisieux Lecture Series will have its next event on Tuesday, Sept. 22, featuring Fr. James Kubicki, SJ. 

He will speak on devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, helping the diocese explore the graces that are now available after its recent consecration to the Sacred Heart.

About Father Kubicki

Father Kubicki, a Jesuit priest, serves as a retreat director at the Jesuit Retreat House on Lake Winnebago in Oshkosh, Wis. 

Father Kubicki is a national speaker, retreat leader, and author, including of the book A Heart on Fire: Rediscovering Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

He is also a frequent guest of Relevant Radio and the former director of the Apostleship of Prayer (now the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network). 

The Diocese of Madison is excited to welcome him, and his insights should help the faithful to fully live the devotion to the Sacred Heart and experience its profound blessings.

The St. Thérèse of Lisieux Lecture Series has been going strong for 25 years, and continues to bring national-level speakers to the Diocese of Madison to help people learn more about their Faith and to inspire them to imitate the saintly charity of St. Thérèse.

Event details

The event will begin with Evening Prayer before Father Kubicki’s talk. 

After the lecture, there will be a light reception with time to meet Father Kubicki and purchase his books.

The event will take place in the Holy Name Oratory at Holy Name Heights, 702 S. High Point Rd., Madison, beginning at 7 p.m. on September 22. 

Registration is not required but is appreciated.
