Catholic Diocese of Madison Foundation welcomes new staff member
The Catholic Diocese of Madison Foundation (CDMF) is pleased to welcome Theresa Clarady as our new communications and operations manager. She began her new position on September 8.
Prior to joining the CDMF, Clarady was the assistant communications director for the Diocese of Palm Beach.
There, she helped manage logistics and communications strategy with a passion to use her skills to further the inspirational mission of the Catholic Church.
Clarady sees the opportunity to use this same passion to advance the mission of the Foundation.
She moved to Wisconsin in July with her husband. They married earlier this year, and were looking for an opportunity to move closer to family — either his in Texas, or hers in the Midwest.
When he found a great job in Wisconsin, they felt like the decision was made for them and they were both excited to make the move.
“It is a joy to be back, as having been born and raised in Minnesota, a part of my heart has always remained in the Midwest,” Clarady said.
“I missed everything from the beautiful fall seasons to the kindness of the people, even while living in Florida the past five years.”
While Clarady will also help ensure that the CDMF’s operational efficiency is as good as it can be for fundholders and board members, the majority of her focus will be on building awareness of the CDMF and the impact the Foundation has on Catholic parishes, schools, and ministries all across the Diocese of Madison.
Coming from a very Catholic family — she is the seventh of 10 children — Clarady brings a cheerful spirit, an engaging personality, and a strong work ethic to her role.
“My joy has always come from meeting people and communities,” she said.
“I enjoy learning about their needs and working with the Holy Spirit to help create movement toward meeting those needs. I love building a community, forming relationships, and working alongside the Lord to see where He is leading. I believe that is where I can have the greatest impact in this role.”
If you’d like to learn more about the CDMF and the inspirational impact we are having in the Diocese of Madison and beyond, reach out and introduce yourself to Theresa via email at theresa.clarady@diocesemadisonfoundation.org or by phone at 608-821-3048.
She would be very happy to have a conversation with you about how you could partner with the CDMF to support the Catholic ministry closest to your heart both now and for the future.
Paul Merline is the executive director of the Catholic Diocese of Madison Foundation (CDMF).
