The following are woman’s deanery meetings for West Dane and Lafayette.
West Dane Deanery
MIDDLETON — Wednesday, April 22, is the date of the West Dane Deanery meeting at St. Bernard Parish here. “Lighten the Load with Hope — Hope Through the Donkey Project” is the theme. Registration is at 8:15 a.m. followed by business meeting and presentation on the Donkey Project with the Diocese of Navrongo Bolgatango, in Ghana, Africa. Speaker will be Clarence Mougin, Dane. There will be a concelebrated Mass with Msgr. Duane Moellenberndt as homilist. The Offertory collection will benefit the Donkey Project. Donations are requested for religious articles, personal items, and cancelled stamps. Lunch will follow. Reservations are due April 17 to Jo Meier, 6824 Franklin Ave., Middleton WI 53562. Cost is $10.
Lafayette Deanery
BENTON — St. Patrick Parish here will host the Lafayette Deanery meeting Tuesday, April 28. Theme will be “Fr. Mazzuchelli, O.P., a Saint in the Making.” There will be tours at 4 p.m. with registration at 5 and business meeting. There will be a concelebrated Mass followed by benediction. Msgr. Duane Moellenberndt will be the homilist. Dinner will be served at 7. Sr. Mary Paynter, a Dominican nun who is promoting the cause for beatification of Venerable Samuel Mazzuchelli, will speak. Monetary donations will be accepted for the Mazzuchelli cause. Reservations are due April 21 to Joan McCauley, 64 W. Main St., Benton WI 53503. Cost is $7.
