MADISON — Raising support for local charities is a goal of the Madison Catholic Woman’s Club (MCWC) Fall Style Show.
As joyful Catholic women, the world-wide pandemic has energized us to be sure we do our utmost to support our communities.
Show theme
The theme for the show is “Change is in the Air!” — so appropriate as we all change our ways of living.
It also reflects the change to a video format including the elements of fun of the traditional show.
Delicious dessert recipes will be shared and refreshing cocktail and mocktail ideas are a new twist.
A local celebrity will emcee, and a special guest will be featured.
More surprises will reflect the many changes we have been through and have yet to face.
All women of the diocese and their guests are invited to celebrate the change of the seasons, to get a look at fall fashions from Chico’s (and other enticing designs) and to take an hour to relax and refresh.
Remembering that many people have been severely affected by COVID-19, attendees are asked to make an extra donation, if possible.
MCWC members may designate Luke House, Women’s Care Center, St. Vincent de Paul, Catholic Multicultural Center, Triangle Nurse Program, or Pregnancy Helpline of Madison.
The Madison Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (MDCCW) will be invited through their vicariates to make donations to their local charities, so this event will have a wider impact than in previous years.
MCWC volunteers will offer tutoring sessions for people who are not comfortable logging into the show.
If enough interest is shown, the club will try to arrange safe, socially-distanced viewing options for those without access to the internet.
Come have fun and help our communities through the difficulties of the pandemic.
