MADISON — Connect with local farmers and stock up your winter pantry at the Winter Market & Meals for Hope on Sunday, Feb. 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 2121 Rowley Ave. in Madison.
This family-friendly market showcases the growing number of area farmers championing sustainable and organic agriculture and connecting the community with locally grown food.
The market is open to the public and will take place in conjunction with a brunch featuring local ingredients.Brunch tickets are available for $10/adult or for families of four or more, $25. Tickets may be purchased through the parish beforehand or at the door that day while supplies last.
Winter Market & Meals for Hope, hosted by Blessed Sacrament Parish, is sponsored regionally by Markets & Meals for Hope, a joint project of the non-profit Churches Center for Land & People and Harvest of Hope, ministries helping family farmers since the 1980s farm crisis.
