MADISON — You are invited to join fellow Catholics at the Spring Wine Fest on Friday, May 3, hosted by St. Paul University Catholic Center at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
The mission of St. Paul’s has grown extensively in the last decade and each year; sacraments, highly impactful programming, and outreach are offered to the approximately 10,000 baptized Catholics who call Madison home during their undergraduate or graduate studies.
Touching lives
St. Paul’s has touched the lives of thousands of Catholics, including many in the Diocese of Madison, who carry with them a foundation of prayer and desire to serve others in their vocations, careers, and communities long after graduation.
This event brings together Catholics from across the area to celebrate and learn more about a mission that has a wide impact across the diocese and state.
Thanks to the support of many guests and current sponsors, including 2013 Diamond Sponsor Saint Jude Hospice and 2013 Platinum Sponsors CG Schmidt, Karben4 Brewing, and Town Bank, the Spring Wine Fest has grown to be a highly anticipated evening with friends, new and old.
Wine & Beer Tasting
The evening begins at 6 p.m. with a Wine & Beer Tasting featuring 10 red and white wines from a variety of international regions served by some of the joy-filled university students who call St. Paul’s home.
This year’s Beer Tasting is taken to a new level of excitement with four brews exclusively from the new and highly acclaimed local Karben4 Brewing, whose brewmaster will be on site at the event.
Guests can also partake in a fun raffle, which helps support St. Paul’s mission, by buying wine bottle corks that correspond to a donated bottle of wine to be taken home as a memento of the evening. Donations for event or wine raffle sponsorships are gladly accepted and support the on-going work and growth of St. Paul’s mission.
Open seating during dinner service continues the social atmosphere as guests can relax at a table or move throughout the room, talking with fellow guests and sampling wine and beer.
A brief program featuring the testimony of one of the many current students impacted by this mission is the capstone of an enjoyable evening.
Tickets are $50 per person and there is a great special rate of $150 for a package of four tickets, so take advantage by inviting a few friends and join many supporters of this impactful and growing mission at the Spring Wine Fest.
