MADISON — The Madison Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (MDCCW) announces its schedule of spring vicariate meetings.
All women are invited as well as their parish priests. President Rosa Ropers, Waunakee, and Spiritual Advisor Msgr. Duane Moellenberndt, pastor, Sacred Hearts Parish, Sun Prairie, will participate in each of the meetings. Details are posted on the website www.mdccw.com
Columbia North Vicariate
NESHKORO — Columbia North Vicariate CCW will meet Wednesday, April 20, at St. James Church here, with registration starting at 10 a.m. and the business meeting at 10:45. The theme is “Mary, the Mother of Us All.”
Mass will be celebrated at noon, followed by dinner. The program features Jim Hoegemeier, executive director at The Arc-Wisconsin Disability Association.

Sauk Vicariate
LORETO — The Sauk Vicariate CCW will meet Saturday, April 23, at St. Patrick Church here, with the theme, “Growing in God’s Love.” Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. with Mass at 9:05, followed by a meal and business meeting.
In remembrance and honor of Fr. Larry Bowens, deceased pastor of St. Patrick and MDCCW Spiritual Advisor, the program features the opportunity to create a miniature prayer garden.

West Dane Vicariate
OREGON — West Dane Vicariate CCW invites women of the diocese to attend its gathering Tuesday, April 26, at Holy Mother of Consolation (HMC) Church, 651 Main St., here. Registration is at 8:30 a.m. with business meeting at 9, program at 10, Mass at 11, and lunch at noon.
The theme is “We Are God’s Helping Hands.” JoAnn Russell will speak about the Madison SOS Senior Council, which is an advocacy group for citizens of all ages on health care, Social Security, environment, welfare, and affordable issues. Marilyn Rebman will speak on “Why Go to Mass.” Both Russell and Rebman are HMC parish members.
Carol Statz, Springdale Town deputy clerk and West Dane Vicariate president, will provide the latest information on voting procedures and talk about Wisconsin shrines and holy places.
The collection at Mass will be donated to Natural Land Trust or the Middleton Historical Society in memory of Vera Bauman, a former West Dane Deanery (Vicariate) CCW president, who died this year. The CCW also requests non-perishable items for the Oregon/Brooklyn Food Pantry.

Grant Vicariate
CASSVILLE — St. Charles Borromeo Parish CCW will host the Grant Vicariate meeting Thursday, April 28. Registration is at 10:30 a.m. in the church, 521 E. Dewey St., with Mass at 11 and lunch at noon in the school, followed by the business meeting and program.
Kris Anderson, New Ulm, Minn., diocesan CCW board member, will speak at 2 p.m. on faith, family, and the Catholic Church. A certified public accountant and mother of seven, she serves as her diocesan CCW treasurer. She inspires others in her speaking as she shares that “prayer and Scripture study are her keys to sanity.”
The Offertory collection will be given to the Clarity Clinic, Platteville, a medical clinic serving men and women in crisis.
