MADISON –Pope Benedict XVI invited all Catholics to take a fresh look at the documents of the Second Vatican Council during the Year of Faith. Join internationally known liturgist, Abbot Marcel Rooney, OSB, for a fresh look at what was called for by the Council and what still needs to be done.
Abbot Rooney has spent his life learning and teaching about the liturgy, music, and sacred art. His deep knowledge and faith, combined with wit and insight, connects with both the novice and scholar.
The workshop, a collaboration between Dr. Patrick Gorman of the Office of Worship and the Orate Institute of Sacred Liturgy, Music, and Art, will be held on Saturday, March 9, at St. Maria Goretti Parish, 5313 Flad Ave., from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
The cost of the workshop if registered by Thursday, Feb. 28, is $4 per person, or $2 each for five or more people from the same parish. Registration for the workshop between March 1 and 9 is $6 per person, or $4 each for five or more people from the same parish.
