Blessed Trinity Catholic School to hold gala featuring dinner, music, and live auction
DANE — Blessed Trinity Catholic School (formally known as St. Michael Catholic School) will host a gala in memory of Roseanne Mills on Sunday, May 3, beginning at 6 p.m.
The first annual gala will feature an evening of music, fine dining, and a live auction and a memorial tribute to Roseanne.
St. Ambrose Academy offers three pro-life scholarships
MADISON — Three pro-life volunteers in need of financial assistance will be awarded partial scholarships to study at St. Ambrose Academy this fall, the school announced.

It involves the conviction that a human being is always sacred and inviolable, in any situation and at every stage of development.”
St. Dennis student to dance in world championships in London
MADISON — On Friday, April 11, 13-year-old Bridget Thompson and her family will be leaving for London as the seventh grader from St. Dennis School in Madison gets ready to take part in the World Championships of Irish Dance.
Bridget earned her spot in the championships at the 2013 Mid-America Oireachtas (pronounced “oh-rock-toose”) competition in Grand Rapids, Mich., this past December. She placed 15th out of more than 130 girls.
Students in Cuba City perform play about Venerable Father Mazzuchelli
CUBA CITY — Venerable Fr. Samuel Mazzuchelli died on February 23, 1864.
In recognition of the 150th anniversary of his death, the students of St. Rose of Lima Catholic School in Cuba City presented the play Medicine for Wildcat on Wednesday, Feb. 26, at St. Rose Church.
Bloomington parish to hold dinner and variety show
BLOOMINGTON — For 25 years, people in Bloomington and the surrounding areas looked forward to forgetting their problems and getting rid of the “winter blues” by attending the St. Mary’s Parish Players’ hilarious comedy productions.
Because of the enormous amount of time involved in producing a play, the Players decided it was time to retire — but not completely.

Fr. Tait Schroeder, who did his dissertation on prenuptial agreements, will de-mystify some of the aspects of what prenuptial agreements mean for Catholics approaching marriage. He will delve into how prenuptial agreements impact marital consent.
St. George Trek now accepting applications from Scouts in diocese
MADISON — The Diocese of Madison Catholic Committee on Scouting (DMCCS) is now in the process of selecting Scouts to represent the diocese on the 2015 St. George Trek.
DMCCS has sent five Scouts on the St. George Trek annually since 2009 and is looking for two candidates to be a part of the Trek, which will take place between July 8 and 23 of 2015.
Trivia Night to raise funds for solar panels
MADISON — All are invited to attend a fun and brain-stimulating night of mental Olympics at Trivia Night II to be held at the St. Thomas Aquinas social hall, 602 Everglade Dr., on Saturday, March 29, from 7 to 9:30 p.m.
Cost is $20 per person. Either bring your own team (up to 10 people) or you will be will paired up the night of the event.
Princeton parish plans Day of Prayer
PRINCETON — St. John Parish, 1211 W. Main St., has scheduled a “Day of Prayer” on Tuesday, March 25, the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord.
The day starts with a Children’s Mass at 8:30 a.m. followed by opening prayers and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration will take place throughout the day.
