Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa accept Tricon proposal to purchase buildings at the Mound
The Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa have accepted Tricon Construction Group’s proposal to take the next steps toward ownership of several buildings at Sinsinawa Mound. Tricon proposes to renovate the space for an active senior living community and event center and to explore partnerships with local community organizations responding to human needs in the area.

Sister Janette Wicker, OP, died Jan. 29 2023, at St. Elizabeth Manor, Footville, Wis. Her religious name was Sister Juditha. Natural burial took place Feb. 1 in the Motherhouse Cemetery. The funeral Mass was held at the Dominican motherhouse, Sinsinawa, Feb. 10.

Sinsinawa Property Transitioning to Better Serve the Community
The Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa are working with the real estate brokerage team Cushman & Wakefield | Boerke to transition ownership of some of their buildings at Sinsinawa Mound. The goal is to reuse the existing buildings in ways that align with the ongoing mission of the Dominican Sisters.
