Public Square Rosary Crusade to be held in Green Lake
GREEN LAKE — The 2016 Traditional Marriage Public Square Rosary Crusade will be held on Saturday, March 19, in downtown Green Lake. Prayer will begin at 12 noon at Deacon Mills Park, corner of Mill and South Sts.
In The Secret of the Rosary, St. Louis de Montfort said, “Public prayer is more powerful than private prayer to appease the anger of God and call down His mercy, and Holy Mother Church, guided by the Holy Ghost, has always advocated public prayer in times of public tragedy and suffering.”

Public Square Rosary Crusades being held
In Green Lake
GREEN LAKE — The second annual Public Rosary Rally will be held at Deacon Mills Park, 550 Mill St., on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 12 noon.
An invitation to pray the Rosary publicly is extended to all who love our country and are concerned about the direction in which it is going. Handouts with prayers and free rosaries will be available.
America is at a historic crossroads. Secularists are trying to push God from the public square. They reject His beneficial action upon society. But without God, where will our leaders get the wisdom to solve the problems we face?

Rosary Rallies for religious liberty Christ the King Parish, McFarland
MCFARLAND — How do we show love to those who are hostile to us because of our Christian beliefs? How do we persevere in the faith when others would like to eliminate God and religion from this country?
What can we do to bring the light of Christ’s truth and mercy to the attacks on our religious liberty?
Hundreds protest Planned Parenthood in Madison
MADISON — Prayer.
That’s what it will take to end abortion.
That’s what rush hour commuters saw as more than 200 people prayed on the sidewalks near the Planned Parenthood clinic on Madison’s east side to do their part to see that facility close and protect the lives of the unborn.
The protest on Monday, Aug. 24, was held in unity with nationwide protests following reports of Planned Parenthood harvesting and selling the organs and tissue of aborted babies.
As people’s workdays ended, they arrived at the Orin Rd. site for the 5 p.m. protest, despite the unseasonably cold and gloomy late August weather.
‘All things are possible’
Fr. Rick Heilman, pastor of St. Mary Parish in Pine Bluff and St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Mount Horeb and Perry, welcomed everyone who came out.
“With man it’s impossible, but with God all things are possible,” he said. Encouraging everyone to pray and be in a state of grace, he added, “We need to lean on God and his grace . . . lean on Our Lady as much as you can. She is the one who steps on that satanic head.”

Rosary Rallies for Religious Liberty to be held at McFarland parish
MCFARLAND — Our religious freedoms have come under attack. What is the Catholic response to hostilities, political agendas, and perhaps unjust laws?
The most important response is to pray, support one another, and reflect on how to bring love and peace to often difficult and emotional situations.
For the fourth year, Christ the King Parish will be holding weekly Rosary Rallies for Religious Liberty. The kickoff is Tuesday, June 23, at which Fr. Steve Smith, pastor, will present a short overview of the issues and our role as Catholics in bringing light and truth to the challenges we are facing.
