Sinsinawa Mound remains closed to the public and all programs, events, concerts, prayer services, meetings, tours, and retreats have been canceled through September 1 as the Mound continues to adhere to the guidelines to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Sinsinawa Mound further suspends programming, visits
SINSINAWA — All programming at and visits to Sinsinawa Mound, the Motherhouse for the Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa, are further suspended until Monday, June 15, due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This includes visits to Sinsinawa Book & Gift Gallery and attendance at religious services.

No Child Left Inside connects youth with nature
SINSINAWA — Sinsinawa Mound is offering a summer program aimed at youth ages seven to 12, designed to connect children with the natural world.
No Child Left Inside will be held June 20 to 22, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day. Campers can choose this camp and/or a second camp to be held August 8 to 10 with the same schedule.Tristate Youth Choral Festival concert
SINSINAWA — The Tristate Youth Choral Festival concert will be held on Thursday, April 27, at 7 p.m., at the Sinsinawa Mound.
Students in grades three to eight are offered an opportunity to participate in an afternoon clinic and perform a concert under the direction of guest clinician Karmella Sellers, Dubuque Chorale Children’s Choir director.
‘Dominic’s Dream Continues: 800 Years and Counting’
SINSINAWA — Sinsinawa Dominican Sister Toni Harris, OP, will present “Dominic’s Dream Continues: 800 Years and Counting” from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Sinsinawa Mound.

Dominican Order begins 800th jubilee year: Sisters at Sinsinawa hold opening prayer service
The Dominican Sisters of Sinsinawa invite all to join them in an Opening Ritual and Vesper Service to begin the celebration of the 800th jubilee year of the Order of Preachers at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, in Queen of the Rosary Chapel at Sinsinawa Mound, 585 CTH Z, Hazel Green.
