MADISON — The Madison Catholic Woman’s Club (MCWC) will be celebrating another year of religious, charitable, and civic activities on Monday, May 6, at a 12 noon luncheon at Blackhawk Country Club, 3606 Blackhawk Dr., Madison.

Blessed Sacrament School opening Montessori Children’s House
MADISON — Blessed Sacrament School (BSS) in Madison is opening a Montessori Children’s House.
A “children’s house” is a classroom serving children ages three to six. The BSS Children’s House will operate alongside the single-age 3K and 4K classrooms already offered at the school.

Divine Mercy Sunday at St. Maria Goretti

CASSVILLE — Catholic Charities-Madison announces the opening of Six Rivers Food Pantry on Wednesday, April 17, located at 222 W. Amelia St. in Cassville, serving both Cassville and the surrounding area.
Food will be available for those in need on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and on Saturdays from 8 to 9:30 a.m. Guests will complete a brief application and self-determine their eligibility. All are welcome.
The pantry is needed in the community due to several businesses that have closed leading to unemployment and the lack of other pantries in the Cassville area. “We are thrilled to collaborate with the Cassville community on this project. Helping people in need in rural communities is a fit with our mission,” said Jackson Fonder, president and CEO of Catholic Charities.

Re-entering society after incarceration topic of program for Catholic women
MADISON — St. Bernard Catholic Church, 2438 Atwood Ave., Madison, will be the site for the next Madison Catholic Woman’s Club (MCWC) meeting on Monday, April 8.
The program will feature Janie Ocejo, who has a unique perspective to share in her talk, “Re-entering Society After Incarceration”.
