Dear readers, I always enjoy the first snowfall of the season when I take my morning coffee into the living room, pull back the curtains, swivel the easy chair to face the picture window, and settle in to wait for the morning recess bell.

Dearest Readers,
My excited anticipation, as I walk out to get the mail, quickly changes to a sense of sadness and loss. Although my mom left this life 16 years ago, every day I somehow still expect to find one of her weekly letters in my mailbox.
With so much in the news about the future of Roe v. Wade, Blessed Sacrament Parish, 2116 Hollister Avenue, Madison, will host a panel to explore how Roe came to be, the importance of language in discussing the issues, and historical connections pointing to future resolutions.
