Woman’s Club opens hearts to children in need
MADISON — The Madison Catholic Woman’s Club (MCWC) is opening its hearts to children at their annual Christmas luncheon by bringing gifts of toys and clothing to benefit the St. Vincent de Paul Little Drummer program.
This year’s luncheon on Tuesday, Dec. 10, will be held at Nakoma Golf Club, 4145 Country Club Rd., Madison, at 12 noon. Ken Lonnquist, acclaimed Madison musician and story-teller, will perform with friends his popular original musical adaptation of A Christmas Carol.Edgewood Chamber Orchestra presents benefit concert for Catholic Charities of Madison
MADISON — The Edgewood Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Blake Walter, presents a special concert to benefit Catholic Charities of Madison.
It will take place on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel at Holy Name Heights, 702 S. High Point Rd., Madison.
There is no admission charge for this concert, but a freewill offering will be taken to support Catholic Charities of Madison.

Women invited to ‘A Day of Christian Renewal’
MADISON — The Madison Diocesan Council of Catholic Women and Madison Catholic Woman’s Club jointly invite all women of the diocese and their guests to “A Day of Christian Renewal” on Monday, Oct. 15, at St. Maria Goretti Parish Hall, 5313 Flad Ave., Madison.
Leading the retreat will be June Wessa, parish ministry consultant and co-director of the Jesuit Retreat House in Oshkosh.
