St Joseph’s 15th annual men’s retreat on May 15
REEDSBURG — On Saturday, May 15, men from throughout the Diocese of Madison are invited to an outdoor retreat at Camp Gray in Reedsburg.
Bishop Donald J. Hying of Madison and Fr. Jared Holzhuter, pastor of St Olaf Parish in DeForest, will be the featured speakers for this event.
This year’s theme is, “Do Not Let Your Hearts Be Troubled,” based on the scripture passage John 14:2.

“Our deepest identity is as beloved sons of the Father,” Bishop Donald J. Hying of Madison said, as he spoke to over 80 men from approximately 20 parishes at Camp Gray in rural Reedsburg.
This was the 14th Men’s Retreat, sponsored annually by St Joseph’s Catholic Parish in Baraboo.

Summer at the EDGE shines warmly
MADISON — Last year, Edgewood High School in Madison revived its summer camps program for elementary and middle school children.
This year, there are even more interesting and unique “academic” and “life skills” camps, including topics as varied as 3D printing and Arduino electronics, to photography and art, to cooking and baking, to crafts, languages, and outdoor skills, most designed for students in grades five to nine.
Home Health United holds children’s grief camps
MADISON — In order to help children in the community who may be grieving, Home Health United developed Camp GLOW, a grief support day camp for children ages six to 14 and the grown-ups who love them.
The first of four 2017 camps will be held in Waunakee on Saturday, May 20, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at St. John the Baptist School, 114 E. Third St. Other camps are planned for Baraboo, Janesville, and Verona.
