I joyously encourage everyone in our diocese to register and participate in our first Diocesan Eucharistic Congress, which will be at St. John the Baptist Parish in Waunakee, beginning on Friday night, Sept. 29, and ending on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 1.
Venerate the relics of St. Jude on September 14 in Madison
On Thursday, Sept. 14, the relics of St. Jude Thaddeus, one of the 12 Apostles, will be at St. Maria Goretti Parish here in Madison available for public veneration. The church will be open from 1 to 10 p.m. to pray to the Lord, seek the powerful intercession of St. Jude, and venerate his relics. I will be presiding at a special bilingual Mass at 7 p.m., to which everyone is invited.

These past two weeks, I was blessed to make a pilgrimage with 53 wonderful people, including Fr. Steve Brunner of our diocese, to Lourdes in France and to walk the Camino de Santiago in Spain.
