BERLIN — All Saints Parish is again hosting its paczki sale. Fat Tuesday is approaching and the Polish tradition continues. Paczkis are made from an old family recipe that contains mashed potatoes with the traditional prune-filling, or plain, and then sugar-coated.

BERLIN — On the evening of February 7, over 125 people filled the hall at All Saints Parish in Berlin to learn more about the impact of human trafficking at the local level.
Sr. Carol Haanen of 5-stones, an organization based in the Fox Valley that raises awareness about the dangers and magnitude of human trafficking in Wisconsin, shared startling statistics with the crowd.

Madison Diocese Council of Women hold convention
BERLIN — As Ellen Martin and Sue Koch assumed the co-presidency of the Madison Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (MDCCW) at its recent convention at All Saints Church here, they announced their theme of “Rise, Let Us Be on Our Way.”
The theme is taken from the title of a book by St. John Paul II written when he was bishop of Kracow, Poland, during a time of Communist control.

BERLIN — With the theme, “Women on Fire for the Lord,” keynote speaker Marianne Skrobiak will challenge women “to witness the power of God in our lives” at the 62nd annual convention of the Madison Diocesan Council of Catholic Women (MDCCW) Tuesday and Wednesday, June 7 and 8, at All Saints Church here.
MDCCW President Rosa Ropers, Waunakee, invites women “to come together to celebrate, learn, and pray so we can become women who are willing to speak up for the Lord with enthusiasm and dedication.”
Lenten Women’s Day of Prayer in Berlin
BERLIN — All Saints Parish Council of Catholic Women will host a Lenten Women’s Day of Prayer on Saturday, Feb. 27, at All Saints Catholic Church in Berlin.
The day will begin with registration at 11 a.m. and will end at 4 p.m. with the option of participating in the 4:30 p.m. Mass.
Berlin’s All Saints Parish to perform ‘The Wondrous Story’
BERLIN — All Saints Parish in Berlin strives to encourage participation and appreciation of the arts within its parish community.
To this end, its members will perform The Wondrous Story on Saturday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m., at Berlin High School, 222 Memorial Dr.
Tickets are $3.50 and are available at the parish office and at the door.
Students fill ‘Socks of Love’
BERLIN — Students at All Saints Catholic School, Berlin, collected socks and basic need items for Father Carr’s Place 2B in Oshkosh during Catholic Schools Week.
The campaign was called Socks of Love. The fourth, fifth, and seventh grade classes filled the socks with items such as toothpaste, toothbrushes, soaps, deodorant, and more.
All Saints Parish, Berlin, Christmas musical
BERLIN — For the second year in a row, everyone is welcome to attend the All Saints Parish, Berlin, Christmas musical called Twas the Night Before.
It takes place on Sunday, Dec. 21, at 3 p.m. at the Berlin High School Auditorium. All seats are reserved and tickets are $3.50.
All proceeds from the musical will be donated to the Berlin Food Pantry.
