Why do I make Rosaries, and what does the Rosary mean to me?
The short answer is that I have discovered that the Rosary is one of the most powerful ways that we can tap into the power of God, and I look for ways to share this discovery with others.

PRINCETON — St. John Parish, 1211 W. Main St., has scheduled a “Day of Prayer” on Tuesday, March 25, the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord.
The day starts with a Children’s Mass at 8:30 a.m. followed by opening prayers and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration will take place throughout the day.
I haven’t written one of these columns in a while. In between the busyness of the job, the holidays, and a struggle to put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard, I’ll be honest), my still-developing “On His Time” series has not appeared in the Catholic Herald since October.
JEFFERSON — St. John the Baptist Parish in Jefferson has begun offering family Adoration and 12-hour Eucharistic Adoration vigils on the first Friday of each month. These devotions are offered year-round and are a response to the encouragement of Pope Francis for all Catholics to grow in devotion to Jesus, truly present in the Eucharist.
“O salutaris Hostia, Quae cæli pandis ostium: Bella premunt hostilia, Da robur, fer auxilium.”
At 10 a.m. Madison time on Sunday, June 2 (5 p.m. Vatican time), a small gathering at St. Patrick Church in Madison chanted the familiar hymn for exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

MADISON — As a special event during the Year of Faith, Catholics throughout the world will be joining with Pope Francis in Eucharistic Adoration on the Feast of Corpus Christi, Sunday, June 2.
On that day, the Holy Father will preside at an hour of Eucharistic Adoration in St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican at 5 p.m. Rome time, in communion with all bishops and with their local diocesan communities around the world.
In Wisconsin, that occurs at 10 a.m. Bishop Robert C. Morlino is promoting this time of Adoration at the Cathedral Parish in Madison at St. Patrick Church at 10 a.m., prior to his 11 a.m. Stational Mass.
Bishop Morlino has invited people throughout the Diocese of Madison either to join him at St. Patrick Church or attend times of Eucharistic Adoration at their own parishes and in the various Vicariates of the diocese at 10 a.m. where possible, recognizing the reality of Mass schedule conflicts on a Sunday morning, or at other times on that Sunday.
To the editor:
Being a Catholic teenager is one of the hardest things to do. In this day and age believing in God is thought of as a disease. People make fun of Catholic beliefs and it is getting out of hand.
I am lucky enough to have amazing friends who support me in my faith, but so many others are afraid of showing theirs for fear of rejection.

MADISON — Dennis Ganser, a parishioner at the Cathedral Parish and the proprietor of Ganser exteriors, had been an adorer for a number of years at the Perpetual Adoration Chapel at Holy Redeemer Church.
Inspired by a strong spiritual impetus from our Blessed Mother, he was moved to donate a striking antique wooden statue of the Virgin Mary to the Adoration chapel. Indeed, the new statue of Mary brought new life to the chapel.
But it was only the beginning. Mary knew Ganser’s predilection for improving and perfecting — his talent for bringing both beauty and functionality to the exterior of homes throughout Southwestern Wisconsin. And so the design of an Adoration chapel more worthy of our Lord had begun.
MADISON — On September 7, nearly 200 Catholics from parishes across the diocese gathered at the Bishop O’Connor Center to listen to a presentation about the upcoming renovation of the Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration Chapel at Holy Redeemer Church in Madison.
