“We’ll see the end of abortion in our lifetime,” asserted Fr. Frank Pavone, national director of Priests for Life, in a talk sponsored by Wisconsin Right to Life at the Inn on the Park in Madison on May 7.
Spring Wine Fest shows support for new building
To say the night was merely a success would certainly be an understatement. Now in its fourth year, the Spring Wine Fest hosted by St. Paul University Catholic Center was held on Friday, May 3, at the Madison Concourse Hotel just steps away from the Wisconsin state capitol building.

Chrism Mass unites bishop, priests, people
The sounds of trumpets, timpani, and harp and the smell of incense enhanced the prayers of the faithful of the Diocese of Madison as they united with their bishop and priests at the Chrism Mass celebrated on Tuesday of Holy Week, March 26, at St. Maria Goretti Church.

Divine Mercy Sunday will be celebrated on April 7 at Divine Mercy Parish at St. Aloysius Church, 115 Madison St. in Sauk City. The festivities will begin at 2 p.m.
Marie Loring dies
Marie Loring, age 94, died on Friday, March 22, 2013. She was born June 12, 1918, at rural Platteville, the daughter of Matt and Josephine (Siepker) Loring, the oldest of their ten children.
