MADISON — The Madison Catholic Woman’s Club will have lush perennials to share for a donation to St. Vincent de Paul’s food pantry.
The pantry gets heavy use during the summer months, so providing extra funds now is very helpful.
You can load your car with generous-sized perennials on two dates, rain or shine: Saturday, Aug. 27, or Saturday, Sept. 17, both from 8 to 11 a.m. at 2020 Vilas Ave., Madison. Some plants will be pre-dug and potted, some with bare roots, and some you can dig yourself. Come prepared to take home bountiful clumps that you can divide and plant and make a monetary donation to St. Vincent de Paul.
Master Gardener Susanna Herro will be on hand to answer questions.
To see a partial list of the plants available, go to the Madison Catholic Woman’s Club Facebook page. All proceeds will help feed those in need during this Year of Mercy.
