Sr. Linda Ramirez was born Rosa-Herminda on November 15, 1935 to Ana-Sixta (Martinez) and Antonio Ramirez, in Machetá, Cundinamarca, Colombia, South America.
She entered the convent in the early 1960s and got her novitiate training in St. Louis, Mo., where she was professed on June 4, 1964.
In Wisconsin, she served as head cook at Queen of Apostles Seminary in Madison until 1974 and at Holy Name Seminary in Madison until 1984.
She is survived by a sister, Teresa, and brother, Alcides of Machetá, Colombia; many nieces and nephews; grand nieces and grand nephews; and her dear Sisters of the Auxiliaries of the Blessed Sacrament.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial for Sister Linda was held on January 25 at St. Jude Church in Beloit.
Burial was held at Mt. Thabor Cemetery in Beloit.
