Lucia Vergara of Madison listened to Miller on the radio and was impressed by his message. “I met him in Miama and asked him to come to Madison,” she said.
Who is John Rick Miller? In 1988, he received a “massive conversion” to the Catholic faith. He began to combine his work as a senior international corporate executive with a special ministry to the sick and downtrodden.
In 1998, he retired from his corporate life and co-founded, along with a Catholic priest, the Apostolate of St. Joseph, a Catholic society whose members honor the role of the family under the patronage of St. Joseph and St. Monica.
Devotion to Our Lady
Miller is also the founder and head of the Guild of Our Lady at the Marian Sanctuary of London.
The guild, which ironically began on September 11, 2001, is an organization of the Catholic Church whose members pray daily for the protection and conversion of the city of London.

In 2007, Miller began, with the Pallottine Order in India, a plan to build Catholic shrines in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary in India. Six shrines have been built thus far and more are in the works.
Returning to God
In 2008, Miller undertook a mission to establish networks of people in Central and South America and historically Catholic countries to pray for the protection of the country and the return of lapsed Catholics to a family life under God and living their Catholic faith as a daily way of life. The first of these groups was founded in Colombia.
Miller continues to travel throughout the world, speaking in churches and at conferences, encouraging people to return to God as individuals, families, communities, and nations consecrated to the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and the Chaste Heart of St. Joseph.
In 2009, Miller established the international organization, “For the Love of God Worldwide,” to oversee the organizations being formed in such countries as Colombia, Venezuela, Poland, Panama, Ecuador, Mexico, and the United States.
In 2010, the mission opened in Australia, Nicaragua, and the states of California, Louisiana, and Mississippi in the United States. An estimated one million people are saying the daily prayers of the mission. In 2011, the mission is opening in Alaska and has been invited to other countries.
The mission, according to its literature, calls Catholics “to become examples and witnesses through our own daily lives to the existence of God, His love for us, and to declare that we are His children.”
The mission is supported by four cornerstones: consecration/a covenant with God; conver-sion/personal change; prayer from the heart/the passion of Christ within the Rosary; and good works.
