SUN PRAIRIE — Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Parish, 221 Columbus St., is holding its annual Eucharistic Day on Sunday, April 3.
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will take place at the end of the 11 a.m. Mass. There will then be time for private prayer in church until 3 p.m., when evening prayer and Benediction will be held.
Between evening prayer and Benediction, a reflection on “Eucharist — The Heart of the Priesthood” will be given by Fr. John Putzer, parochial vicar of Sacred Hearts Parish. Father Putzer studied theology at the American College of the Immaculate Conception in Louvain, Belgium, and was ordained for the Diocese of Madison in December 2010.
Following Benediction, a reception will take place in the lower level of the church. All are welcome to attend this event; the church is handicapped-accessible. For more information call Naomi Matthees at 608-837-2488.
