MADISON — Bishop Donald J. Hying of Madison and the diocesan Office of Rural Life will host listening sessions beginning Tuesday evening, Aug. 31, in Monroe.
Sessions will be held in all 11 counties, with the first five scheduled for this fall.
Tom Nelson, diocesan rural life coordinator, said the bishop wants to hear from rural residents about what diocesan services are useful to them and what additional opportunities they would find helpful, including partnerships with other faith communities and relief agencies.
Bishop Hying will attend the listening sessions listed here.
Locations and times for additional listening sessions will be published in the Catholic Herald, parish bulletins, on the Diocese of Madison website, and by contacting the Rural Life Office Coordinator Tom Nelson at 608-438-7154 or by email at tomnelson.art@gmail.com
