DODGEVILLE — Mark your calendar for Sunday, Nov. 6, and join Bishop Donald J. Hying of Madison for an 8 a.m. Mass and Blessing for Rural Life and the Harvest Season.
It will take place at St. Joseph Parish, 305 E. Walnut St., Dodgeville.
The Mass and blessing will be to celebrate the safe and productive harvest throughout the Diocese of Madison and for the health and safety for our farmers and producers of food, fuel, and fiber.
Our hosting pastor is Fr. Bill Van Wagner, pastor of St. Joseph Parish in Dodgeville in Iowa County.
Mass will be followed by a blessing of all diocesan area farm fields and implements, and the parish will be offering a short hospitality reception to follow between the liturgies.
