MADISON — St. Paul’s Catholic Student Center, located near the UW-Madison campus, will be hosting its 11th annual Spring Wine Fest on Friday, April 22.
The event has not been able to happen over the past two years, yet this year St. Paul’s is excited to be bringing it back.
St. Paul’s serves the 49,000 students that attend UW-Madison.
After graduation, many students stay in the Diocese of Madison — having a profound impact on our local parishes and communities.
You’re invited to celebrate the faith life on campus by joining a generation of young people and a fraction of the generous supporters of the Catholic center this spring.
The Spring Wine Fest benefits the important outreach and formation St. Paul’s offers to thousands of students each year.
St. Paul’s mission
Located in the heart of Madison for 116 years, St. Paul’s is available for all students to come and encounter God.
The goal of the Catholic center is to help each student have a deep emotional encounter with the Risen Christ.
From that encounter, the student discovers his or her own vocation and gains the intellectual and personal formation to confidently share that vocation with the world.
Event details
The Spring Wine Fest will start with a joyful reunion during the beer and wine tasting.
There will be 10 different wines from a variety of states and countries.
You heard that right. It will not just have wine, but Karben4 Brewing, a local brewing company, is one of the generous sponsors of the event and will have plenty of beer to try.
After the tasting, there will be a dinner and an hour-long program featuring the impact of St. Paul’s on students’ vocational discernment, life, and faith formation.
Guests are sure to walk away with the hope that this mission brings to the community and state.
This year’s sponsors include the Diocese of Madison, CG Schmidt, Park Bank, Endres Manufacturing Company, Attorney Michael Gratz of Boyle Fredrickson S.C., Backflip, Mooyah, Patriot Properties, Hausmann-Johnson Insurance, and Petr Kolarsky RE/MAX Preferred.
St. Paul’s eagerly awaits to greet you and many Catholics from around the Midwest to celebrate and support the Catholic mission at the Spring Wine Fest.
