MADISON — Vicki Thorn, founder of Project Rachel, the Catholic Church’s ministry for post-abortion healing, will speak on “The Biochemistry of Sex” on Thursday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m., at the Bishop O’Connor Center as part of the Diocese of Madison’s St. Thérèse of Lisieux Lecture Series.
International speaker and author Thorn is the executive director of the national office of Post-Abortion Reconciliation and Healing in Milwaukee, Wis. An international expert and sought-after speaker on abortion recovery, she works with women and men recovering from abortion loss. This work led her to research how humans fall in love and bond to each other.
Thorn is a trauma counselor, spiritual director, prenatal loss and bereavement facilitator. She and her husband have six children.
