MADISON — The Supreme Court of the United States has taken up a late-term abortion case in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health and will render judgment in the near future.
Whatever the result of that case, there will need to be a greater collaborative effort to support mothers, fathers, and children before, during, and after a pregnancy. How can we help? Where do we start?
The Diocese of Madison is looking to address these and other questions as it hosts a Pro-Life Summit on Saturday, April 2, at Holy Name Heights, 702 S. High Point Rd., Madison.
The day will start with the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass offered by Bishop Donald J. Hying of Madison at 9 a.m. followed by talks geared toward support of life at the local and national levels.
There will be opportunities for brainstorming and connecting with others from across the diocese in order to join efforts and discuss best practices. The summit will conclude by 12 noon.
