MADISON — The Pregnancy Helpline (PH) Sharing Center has relocated to the Catholic Multicultural Center (CMC), 1862 Beld St., in the lower level.
To celebrate its new location, PH will be holding an open house on Saturday, May 4, from 2 to 4 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
“We are so pleased to be in this beautiful location, partnering with an organization that has a similar mission to ours — to serve all people in a holistic and caring way,” said PH Executive Director Alissa Hirscher.
“The CMC offers English and computer classes, provides a warm meal seven days a week, a food pantry, and many other services. We very much hope that our clients will utilize the CMC’s services in addition to our own, and get help and support on a variety of levels.”The Sharing Center is open every Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon, except holiday weekends. Clients can come once a month and select from free supplies of baby clothes, diapers, formula, books, toys, and equipment (strollers, high chairs, bathtubs, etc.).
CMC Director Andy Russell commented, “I’m very happy to have Pregnancy Helpline here at the Catholic Multicultural Center. It’s great to know that many of the pregnant women and families with children we currently serve will be able to receive attentive and compassionate help right here at the CMC, thanks to Pregnancy Helpline.”
Pregnancy Helpline of Madison is a non-profit, non-political organization supporting Madison-area families for over 30 years. In addition to the Sharing Center, PH provides a 24-hour Helpline, a Baby Care Package Program, and a Safe Sleep Program. All programs are free of charge to women, men, and families.
