A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, Jan. 28 at St. Dennis Church in Madison for Fr. Delbert D. Klink, a pastor emeritus of the Diocese of Madison who died on January 23, 2011.

Fr. Kent Schmitt was principal celebrant with Fr. Ken Klink as homilist. Interment in St. Bernard Parish Cemetery, Watertown.
A native of Watertown, he was born on September 15, 1934, to Marie J. Heimerl Klink and Paul William Klink. He attended St. Bernard School in Watertown and St. Lawrence Seminary in Mt. Calvary for high school.
He studied at St. Francis Seminary, Milwaukee, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in 1956. He was ordained a priest on May 28, 1960, at St. Raphael Cathedral in Madison. He did graduate study in math and education at Marquette University, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
After ordination, he was associate pastor of St. Dennis Parish in Madison. In 1963 he became an instructor and dean of students at Holy Name Seminary in Madison, where he served until 1977.
He served as pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, Reedsburg; St. Dennis, Madison; and St. William, Janesville. He retired with the title of pastor emeritus in 2003.
He served as a chaplain of the Serra Club; as a member of the St. Raphael Society board; and as a diocesan consultor.
He is survived by two brothers, Fr. Ken Klink and Don Klink (wife Lynn) and a sister, Paula Horn.
