MADISON — The Catholic Herald, the official newspaper of the Diocese of Madison, is announcing two new staff hires.
Graham Mueller has started in the role of content specialist.
Mueller will cover events around the diocese as well as partake in other writing, photography, and newspaper production duties.
Mueller is a 2021 graduate of the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn.
Lauren VanRemortel has started in the role of communication and design specialist.
She’ll be assisting with layout design of the paper and elements within it as well as some other visual parts of the publication.
VanRemortel is a 2022 graduate of Edgewood College in Madison.
“It’s a blessing having this new and young talent at the Catholic Herald,” said Editor Kevin Wondrash.
“We’re looking forward to what the future holds for the paper and communications efforts as a whole as we continue to be a part of the mission of the Diocese of Madison to Go Make Disciples.”
In other news at the publication, Ann Cicero has moved into the role of advertising coordinator.
Cicero has been with the paper since 2022 as its administrative assistant.
