MONROE — As Monroe Clinic prepares to break ground on the northwest addition, pre-construction site work will create some changes to visitor parking on the Monroe campus.
While the actual ground breaking will not take place until later this year, visitors will notice site work has already begun on the east side of the clinic building.
At this point no parking has been affected. However, beginning the week of September 21, the clinic building’s north-side, lower-level entrance — where many patients enter the pediatrics and family practice departments — will be closed for several months. During this time, visitors are asked to enter the clinic building through the main entrance.
Construction signs marked at the top with the words “Northwest Addition” will help alert visitors to closed entrances and where to access parking for the clinic and hospital as well as Monroe Clinic’s free valet parking service.
The clinic offers free valet service at the main clinic and hospital entrances as well as free shuttle service in the parking lots. The shuttle operates Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Valet service is available Monday through Friday at the hospital’s main entrance from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and at the clinic’s main entrance from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by checking in with the receptionist or calling 608-324-2000.
