PRINCETON — Have you heard of the phenomena called “Flash Mobs”?
St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1211 W. Main St., is organizing a “Mass Mob” to fill the pews with as many people as possible. It will take place on Palm Sunday, April 13, at the 10:30 a.m. Mass.
Besides parishioners and frequent guests, an effort is being made to invite those who have not been attending Mass on a frequent basis through letters, email, Facebook, and Twitter.
People will be invited to enjoy the beautiful, historic church that was built in 1887. The day includes distribution of palms, the reading of the Passion of Christ, special music, and a hospitality area afterwards.
The theme for the day is, “Were You There When They Crucified My Lord?” Special buttons proclaiming, “I was there!” will be distributed.
