DODGEVILLE — Margaret A. Leffler, 94, of Dodgeville, died on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at Upland Hills Nursing & Rehab Center in Dodgeville following a long illness.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Dec. 14, at 11 a.m., at St. Joseph Church, 310 Ellwood St., Dodgeville, with her son, Fr. Richard Leffler, presiding. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Dec. 14, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Parish Cemetery in Dodgeville.
She was born September 26, 1923, in Truman Township near Belmont to Rose (McKeon) and John Mulcahy. She married Raymond Leffler on June 13, 1945, in Truman. The couple were Dodgeville residents their entire life.
She was an active member of St. Joseph Parish and its Altar Society.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, a daughter Alice, a sister, and three brothers.
Margaret is survived by a daughter, Jane (David) Clay of Pflugerville, Texas; five sons: Fr. Richard Leffler of Potosi, Eugene Leffler of Lone Rock, William (Ann) Bauer-Leffler of Platteville, Donald (Melanie) Leffler of Dodgeville, and Michael Leffler of Boscobel; nine grandchildren; and six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Joseph School or St. Joseph Parish in Dodgeville would be appreciated.
