JANESVILLE — Ave Maria University’s Institute for Pastoral Theology (IPT) will start a new cohort in the fall of 2009. This program leads to a Master of Theological Studies (MTS) degree in pastoral theology, meeting one weekend each month, August through May, for three years. Classes are held at St. John Vianney Parish in Janesville. Prospective students are invited to come as guests at the following classes:
- The Corinthian Correspondence — Friday, Feb. 13, 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 14, 8 to 10:50 a.m.
- Augustine on the Happy Life — Friday, Feb. 13, 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 14, 8 to 10:50 a.m.
- Catholic Social Teaching in an Age of Revolution — Saturday, Feb. 14, 12:30 to 6:40 p.m.
- The Mystery of God’s Plan of Love is Fulfilled in the Church — Saturday, Feb. 14, 12:30 to 6:40 p.m.
- The Pastoral Theology of Vatican II — Sunday, Feb. 15, 8 a.m. to 3:50 p.m.
- Foundational Principles of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass — Sunday, Feb. 15, 8 a.m. to 3:50 p.m.
