MADISON — The grand opening for the redevelopment of the former Bishop O’Connor Catholic Pastoral Center into Holy Name Heights will be held on Thursday, Aug. 18, beginning at 3 p.m.
Holy Name Heights is the landmark home for the Diocese of Madison, Catholic Charities, the historic Bishop O’Donnell Holy Name Memorial Chapel, and for a vibrant new residential community.
A Mass of Thanksgiving with Bishop Robert C. Morlino presiding will be celebrated at 3 p.m., followed by a grand opening ceremony at 4 p.m., with remarks from Bishop Robert C. Morlin;, Gary Gorman, CEO, Gorman & Company, Inc.; Jackson Fonder, president and CEO, Catholic Charities, Diocese of Madison; Alder Paul Skidmore, ninth district, City of Madison; Msgr. Michael Burke, pastor, St. Maria Goretti Parish, Madison; and Mark Meloy, president and CEO, First Business Bank.
A reception will follow.
