FORT ATKINSON — St. Joseph Parish is hosting a Light of the World Retreat.
Ever wonder what you are living your life for? What gives your life meaning and purpose? Can you really know God’s plan for your life?
If you have asked yourself these and similar questions, the “Good News” message of the Gospel is that you are not alone. These are the questions of our hearts and souls and the Light of the World Process seeks to answer them.
When you attend the retreat, you will learn what the clear message of the Gospel means to you and how you can move ahead in your journey of faith. You will also experience intimately the true Gospel message of salvation as you are invited to participate in a renewal of Baptism, Confirmation, and First Eucharist.
St. Joseph parishioner Maggie Seiler said, “Light of the World Retreat is more than just a chance to get away from the world and be still. It’s also a chance to meet other people, learn, and encounter God more deeply.”
Prepare your heart for Easter with a Lenten retreat. The retreat is held over a long weekend beginning on Friday night, Feb. 9, and concluding with an evening meeting on Monday, Feb. 12.
There is no charge for the retreat, and child care and meals will be provided.
