HUBERTUS — On Saturday, Oct. 4, come out for the 14th annual “Fire On the Hill!” Find out why it’s the single largest youth event in the state.
Last year, 1,800 youth poured onto the grounds of the Basilica of the National Shrine of Mary, Help of Christians, popularly known as “Holy Hill.”
This beautiful fall event includes bonfire, speakers, sports, and sacraments.
Massive tents are set up for the speakers, music, and Adoration. The theme this year is “Renewed!” “Behold, I make all things new!” (Rev. 21:5). The day is a great opportunity for young people to experience fun, faith, and formation.Auxiliary Bishop Donald Hying of Milwaukee will be the celebrant and homilist at Mass. In addition, this year’s speakers include Mark Hart, Rosario Rodriguez, and Joel Stepanek with music ministry by Ike Ndolo.
Hart is the executive vice-president for content and identity at Life Teen. Stepanek is a life support coordinator at Life Teen. Rodriguez is an inspirational speaker sharing her journey of healing and forgiveness after surviving violent crimes. Ndolo provides music ministry in his Arizona parish and carries his mission work to Mexico and as far as China.
This amazing lineup is sure to provide a sense of purpose and reinforce fundamentals in a fresh way just for teens. This generous free event for teens is compliments of the Carmelites at Holy Hill.
