EVANSVILLE — The parishes of St. Paul in Evansville and St. Augustine in Footville are excited to invite speaker and musician Nick De La Torre and his wife Alina to our parish for our Lenten mission.
Sometimes even the most devout Catholics find themselves feeling hollow, left empty by the daily demands of life.
In the Letter of Paul to the Ephesians, we find a reminder that there is a profound unity in the body of Christ, both when we gather together as a Church and in the Holy Eucharist.
In Ephesians 5:14 we are called to, “Awaken, O sleeper, rise up from the grave, and Christ will give you light.”
This is a beautiful opportunity to deeply reach the hearts of our community, gather around the Eucharist, and pray for renewed conversion.
On Sunday, Feb. 26, and Monday, Feb. 27, Nick will be diving into why we should believe, the importance of the sacraments, and why the Catholic Church should matter to you.
The two-day event concludes with praise and worship in front of the Blessed Sacrament during Eucharistic Adoration.
Join us both evenings from 7 to 8 p.m. at St. Paul Church, 39 Garfield Ave., Evansville.
The event is free and open to everyone.
