MONONA — Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 5101 Schofield St., Monona, will be hosting the Blessed Carlo Acutis Eucharistic Miracles of the World exhibit from Thursday, Dec. 8, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., to Sunday, Dec. 11, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Blessed Carlo Acutis was a boy from Milan, Italy, who had a great love for the Lord, the Eucharist, computers and the Internet, hiking, and other activities that young people do.
Because of his love for Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, he gathered information of all of the recorded Eucharistic miracles from around the globe, and cataloged these into a website. He finished his work in 2005.
A year later, Blessed Carlo died at the age of 15 from leukemia.
He was beatified in 2020.
Since that time, a traveling exhibit of panels has been developed, using the information he cataloged.
A relic of Blessed Carlo Acutis will accompany the exhibit.
