MADISON — Officials with Edgewood College, University of Wisconsin Colleges, and Madison College (MATC) have established Articulation Agreements, making the path from a two-year degree to the completion of a four-year degree a lot smoother.
The formal agreements allow for students who complete a two-year program at any UW-College campus, UW-Colleges Online Program, or an Associates Degree from Madison College, to transfer to Edgewood College to complete a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
The new agreements, finalized recently, are needed to reflect changes in Edgewood College’s general education curriculum. The COR curriculum, named in recognition of the college motto “cor ad cor loquitur” (Heart Speaks to Heart), is in its second year of implementation.
“It is great to officially affirm our longstanding partnerships with such outstanding institutions,” said Christine Benedict, director of Undergraduate Admissions at Edgewood College.
“We are fortunate to have great opportunities for the young people of Wisconsin to achieve their educational goals, and it’s an honor to be able to work together to help our students succeed.”
