BARABOO — Durward’s Glen will be holding its 99th Corpus Christi Outdoor Mass on Sunday, June 10.
The ceremony will begin at 11 a.m. with a processional to its beautiful hilltop altar.
A dinner will be served in the Main Hall following the Mass and procession. All are welcome.
Poetry Evening
As part of Durward’s Glen’s continued sesquicentennial celebration, a Poetry Evening will be held on Friday, June 8, coordinated by the Village Booksmith of Baraboo.
A potluck supper will begin at 6 p.m. followed by the Poetry Reading and Open Stage at 7:30 p.m.
Wisconsin Poet Laureate Bruce Dethlefsen and other guests will read their own work as well as poems written by members of the Durward family.
Enjoy an evening of art, food, and fellowship as we celebrate poetry, the Durwards, and the spirit of nature.

Volunteer opportunities
Durward’s Glen has many volunteer opportunities. Those interested in volunteering some time updating the Glen’s Web site, doing Saturday and Sunday tours, or helping with never ending maintenance projects (painting, pulling weeds, electrical or plumbing), call 608-356-8113.
Durward’s Glen Retreat Center has 30 guest rooms, the Artists Cottage, and the Cornerstone Hermitage Guest House. There are two halls with complete kitchens to hold retreats, family reunions, or wedding receptions. Call 608-356-8113 for information for booking an event.
Weekly Mass, Bible study
Weekly Mass on Tuesdays at 8 a.m. followed by a Bible study discussion led by Fr. Pedro Escribano of Divine Mercy Parish in Sauk City.
