PRINCETON — St. John Parish, 1211 W. Main St., has scheduled a “Day of Prayer” on Tuesday, March 25, the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord.
The day starts with a Children’s Mass at 8:30 a.m. followed by opening prayers and exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration will take place throughout the day.
Individual confessions will be heard at 9:15 a.m. Stations of the Cross will be held at 2:30 p.m. Communal Penance is scheduled for 6 p.m., followed by the closing of Adoration.It has become a Lenten tradition at St. John’s to have a day of prayer for the specific intentions of those within the parish and surrounding areas. A special box is provided for prayer intentions and placed on the altar during the day.
Those who come to adore the Blessed Sacrament are asked to include those intentions along with their own. People are invited to send their prayer requests to be placed in the box.

Parishioners and those attending may drop their prayer requests in a box provided in back of church. These requests will be prayed for at St. John’s on March 25.
