MADISON — The Catholic Multicultural Center (CMC) invites the public to help celebrate its fifth anniversary after reopening under Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish.
All are welcome to attend Celebrate CMC on Saturday, Aug. 9, in the CMC parking lot located at 1862 Beld St. in Madison for a fun community extravaganza.
From 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., enjoy live entertainment, children’s games and prizes, summer activities, and food for sale by the CMC Culinary Creations Catering employment initiative.Come see members of Ballet Folklorico, Carlos and Sonia Avila, perform traditional Mexican and Aztec dances, listen to sounds of neighborhood hip hop artists Junebug Abeyta and Rob DZ, and sway to the beats of traditional Latin music group Tierra Libre. Headlining act Megan Bobo and the Lux will perform at 6:30 p.m.
The staff at the CMC hopes to see you at the event and offers their most sincere thanks to the community for all the support that has allowed the CMC to carry out its mission of serving our brothers and sisters in need.
