WAUNAKEE — A Catholic Men’s Conference will be held on Saturday, Sept. 16, at St. John the Baptist Church, 209 South St., Waunakee.

FITCHBURG — The Catholic Multicultural Center (CMC) invites you to “International Night,” a fundraiser and community event at its Fitchburg location, 5256 Verona Rd., on Saturday Sept. 9, from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

MADISON — The Wisconsin Catholic Conference (WCC), the public policy voice of the bishops of Wisconsin, supports and offered testimony on two bills that would restrict the use of taxpayer funds to pay for elective abortions.
On April 19, the WCC testified in support of Assembly Bill 128 (Rep. André Jacque, R-De Pere), which would prohibit public authorities from subsidizing elective abortions.
MONONA — On Tuesday, Aug. 22, at 6 p.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Monona, His Excellency Robert C. Morlino, Bishop of Madison, will celebrate a Pontifical Mass at the Throne for the traditional Feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
The Mass will be in the Roman Rite’s older, traditional form, sometimes called the “Extraordinary Form.” The music will be in Gregorian chant and Renaissance polyphony, with motets and hymns, including:
MIDDLETON — All are invited to participate in a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse on Thursday, Oct. 5 (Feast of St. Faustina).
The pilgrimage will leave from St. Bernard Church, 2015 Parmenter St., Middleton, loading the motorcoach at 6:45 a.m., leaving at 7 a.m. The group will leave La Crosse at 4 p.m., arriving at St. Bernard’s parking lot at approximately 6:30 p.m.
MADISON — St. Dennis Parish, 505 Dempsey Rd., will host a four-week “No One Cries the Wrong Way” series on Wednesday evenings, Sept. 6, 13, 20, and 27. A group reunion will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 18.
Sessions facilitated by the St. Dennis grief ministry team include presentations, prayer, small group discussion, handouts. and refreshments. There is no cost but attendance is limited. To register, call the St. Dennis office at 608-246-5124 by August 28.
