Catholic Charities to distribute flood relief assistance in Sauk County
BARABOO — Catholic Charities Madison is continuing to financially assist recent flood impacted households in South Central Wisconsin.
On September 27, Catholic Charities distributed 101 gift cards to households in Dane County facing the challenges of recovery from August flooding. Residents of Cross Plains, Mazomanie, Black Earth, and Belleville were able to use the funds to defray their own personal expenses.
Bishop Morlino to celebrate annual Requiem Mass November 2
MADISON — Bishop Robert C. Morlino will celebrate the annual Requiem Mass on All Souls Day, Friday, Nov. 2, at 7 p.m. in the Bishop O’Donnell Chapel at Holy Name Heights, 702 S. High Point Rd.
November is the month when Catholics pray in a special way for the repose of the dead and, by God’s will, for the rapid entrance into heaven of the Poor Souls.

BARABOO — The Madison Diocesan Choir will join with the St. Joseph Choir to provide the music ministry for Mass on Saturday evening, Oct. 27, at 4 p.m. The church is located at 300 2nd St. in Baraboo. All are invited.

That has been the motto parishioners and supporters of St. Dennis Parish in Madison have been seeing over the past year as the parish kicked off and is completing its “Centered on Christ” facility renewal project.
Bishop consecrates new St. Dennis altar
MADISON — In a six-month transformation, St. Dennis Parish is now more “Centered on Christ” — which was the name of its campaign to not only move the tabernacle to the middle of the sanctuary, but also to install a new altar, crucifix, and stained glass window, all centered together, on Christ.
“As pastor, I’m just so uplifted and elated and encouraged,” said St. Dennis Pastor Fr. Randy Timmerman, following the consecration Mass at the church on October 14.
