STOUGHTON — The second annual Steve Bolser Joggin for the Noggin 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22, at 10 a.m., at Lake Kegonsa State Park as a memorial to long-time Queen of Peace School Principal Steve Bolser, who died of a brain tumor in 2009.
“Steve taught us all respect, compassion, and integrity, and this is our way of showing that we learned it,” said Mary Beth Drabik, an event organizer, along with Bolser’s wife and daughter, Mel and Sarah, and family friend Mary Kay Johnson. “To celebrate Steve’s life, the Bolser family wanted to help others battle this devastating disease.”
Proceeds will support American Brain Tumor Association’s (ABTA) mission to eliminate brain tumors through research and meet the needs of brain tumor patients, their families, and caregivers.
